Goobymania!
Defeat the nefarious Liquid Gooby - and get your favourite CD back!
Goobymania! is a short little platformer made for GBJam 11, in which you play as Gooby - A dancing alien from the planet Goobaria, also a big fan of all kinds of music. Yet one day, a jealous foe destroys his favourite CD - it is Liquid Gooby, his pirate counterpart! Travel throughout Goobaria and defeat all the enemies that are standing in your way.
If you defeat enough of them, you can travel to the Mania Dimension, a weird, corrupted place where Liquid Gooby hid all the pieces of your CD. Show him who's the bigger Goob - in Goobymania!!
Controls:
WASD / Arrow Keys = Move / Enter Door or Mania / Crouch (which has no use, but I added it nonetheless)
Alt / Z / J = Jump
Ctrl / K / X = Run
Enter = Start
Since I couldn't finish everything I wanted to do for the game in 10 days, an updated version of Goobymania! will release sometime after the jam. When I have time, at least.

Thank you for downloading Goobymania! The .zip that you have downloaded contains a .gb file, which you can play on any device that can emulate the Game Boy. Also included is a little readme if you're interested in that.

This game is cute! Sometimes it wasn't clear that I was supposed to stand somewhere specific, and some of the platforming challenges feel a little unnecessarily tight. Your spritework is great, though! Looking forward to Goobymania 2.0 :)
